Is it bad to buy my children a plasma TV in your room?
We have twin boys that will soon be 5 and share one room. I want to buy a plasma TV 32 inches for his room and hang on the wall. They already have a 26inch TV old box but takes too much space. They had a TV with DVD and cable, since they were 2. My in-laws always have some stupid comment on how to pamper our children. He had a TV in my room as a child I remember one time.
TV in your room? At 5? Sounds like you grew up with the same thing, so you may not realize: that it is normal and that many believe in not OK. At that age, no more than 30 minutes of screen time. And it has to be with (or near) to children. They should not be left alone in his room TV. You may not like I'm saying this … and I do not think it's a bad parent … I suspect that you are simply a repetition of mistakes made by their own parents … justifying saying "I work out."
