How can I get surround sound to my PS3, Xbox 360 and my TV channels?
40RV525R I have a Toshiba 40 'Full HD LCD, account with 3 HDMI ports, digital audio output. ps3 with a digital port and an HDMI port. Xbox 360 version more. I have a Rocketfish 4 'TOSLINK optical cable. i have the receiver is a pioneer-SSOW 5.1-ch. has two HDMI inputs, digital audio inputs 3.
Connect your cable box to the receiver using an HDMI cable, then connect an HDMI cable from receiver to TV. Connect the PS3 using an HDMI cable receiver with HDMI and Xbox to TV and optical cable to the receiver. Select the input used for PS3 or Xbox when you want to hear the sound, select the input used when you want to listen to the TV. Note that most TV programs are in stereo and only which will mark surround sound Dolby Surround. We hope this helps.
