what is the best flat screen TV out there?
Philips LCD HDTV I have a 1080 regular channels suck.and the color is dark and bright at all times channels.my spending limit is only 47 1100.and and plasmas up.are good? heard hot.whats receiving the best tv to get? want crisp clear suggestions channels.any sharp?
SD is 4:3 aspect ratio and 720×480 resolution HD 16:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1920×1080 or 1280×720 so there is a discrepancy in two fronts. The resolution is the most significant of the two. This means that if you play SD content to your HDTV, high definition television scale goes up to the SD card to its native resolution. This process softens the image a bit. There is nothing you can do about it. This is just part of the reality of owning a high-definition television in a world where SD is still transmitted. HDTV owners just get used to it sooner or later, and begin to gravitate toward more high definition content. In addition, television, even high-definition broadcasts, are highly compressed. So while HD transmission will much better than an issue of SD, will not be as good as BluRay. BluRay only data more information to work with you to provide a better picture. plasma can deliver some of the best image quality in high definition televisions at higher prices. This is inherent to the superior technology is the movement reproduction and superior image quality. So you're not having to pay for additional features. LCD 120Hz or 240Hz refresh rates need to address the motion blur problems. LCD need to offer their LED LCD in order to better blacks, contrast and colors (and compete with Plasma). But you, the consumer, have to pay for these features. And these features are basically trying to make an image LCD of the same quality of a plasma. So why pay the extra amount? Plasmas stay a bit warmer than LCDs. But we're not talking about "if you touch it, you burn" hot. Its a few degrees. If a pet or renews a child against him, will not hurt them at all forms. Its more of a misconception LCD fanboy than anything else. If you go plasma, I recommend Panasonic to look at first. They are the leader in plasma at this time. They have one of the strongest reputations in the industry reliability (if not the strongest single reputation). They offer superb quality at competitive prices. As for specific proposals TCP50U2 PANASONIC – 50 "1080p plasma – $ 989 @ ABC Gallery PANASONIC TCP50S2 – 50 "1080p plasma – $ 1,169 @ ABC Warehouse – S series only has a contrast greater number of bits of the U series, but otherwise are very similar Panasonic VIERA TC collections-S1 P50S1 Series – 50 "1080p plasma – $ 1,030 @ Amazon.com Panasonic VIERA TC-U1 P50U1 Series – 50" 1080p plasma – $ 962@Amazon.com – S1 and S2 vs U1 and U2 means that these are the models 2009 and "2" above the ABC stores are the 2010 models. But if you're looking to save a few bucks extra, it is an option to consider if you're really set on the LCD but for some reason, I would recommend any of a number of Sony or Sharp. Look for something that is 1080p and 120 Hz (or 240Hz). I think you can find a 46 "or 47" model with the specifications and within your budget. KDL46EX500 SONY 46 "1080p 120Hz – $ 989 @ ABC Gallery LN46C630K1F Samsung 46 "120Hz 1080p – $ 990 @ Best Buy KDL46HX701 Sony 46" 1080p 240Hz – $ 1440 @ Best Buy (I know over its budget, but it's a really nice set and series of Sony, so if you can increase your budget a little thought about throwing it out there) Oh! but please do not rely solely on my comments, or anyone else. Please go to a store and set eyes on the equation. Stay away from TV at the same distance he'd be home. Then take a long hard look content to play on them. You can use specification sheets and views / comments to help her close the selection, but at some point, your eyes should be part of the decision. If you can not see a difference, go with the cheaper option and save the $.
